3. (i) Identify the effect of negative feedback on the bandwidth and
harmonic distortion of an amplifier. (7)
(ii) A negative feedback amplifier has an open loop gain of 60000 and a closed loop gain of 300. If the open loop upper cut off frequency is 15KHz, Choose the closed loop upper cutoff frequency. 4. (i) A voltage-series negative feedback amplifier has a voltage gain without feedback of A = 500, input resistance Ri = 3kΩ, output resistance Ro = 20kΩ and feedback ratio β = 0.01. Find the voltage gain Af, input resistance Rif and output resistance Rof of the amplifier with feedback. (7)
